Fish a different lake every day of the week!

At Clear Lake Cottages we are happy to be able to offer you multiple fishing opportunities on a variety of lakes. 
We maintain boats on each of our remote lakes. Depending on the time of year, water conditions and weather patterns each lake will provide a unique experience for the angler. We are proudly a part of our local Fish Hatchery Program. This program helps to protect, preserve and enhance the sport fishing of today and for generations to come.
​Below is a summary of each of the lakes you can choose from.

Lakes

Clear Lake​
​Clear Lake has a multitude of weed beds, underwater structures and deep ridges. Fish for Large and Smallmouth Bass, Pickerel (Walleye), Northern Pike & Lake Trout.
  • Long Lake 
Long Lake is located south of Hwy 522 East of Arnstein and is reached via a short 15 minute drive by car.  Long Lake is punctuated by a mix of weed beds and rocky shoreline habitat.  Access to nearby lakes can be found via the narrows or hiking.  The predominant species are Pike, Large & Smallmouth Bass.
  • Jack's Lake
Jack's Lake is a 10 minute drive by ATV or car to the end of Clear Lake Rd.  You then take a boat up the river from the Wolfe River Dam to Jacks Lake. This is an active lake with several homes and cottages dotted along the shoreline. The lake is made up of several sections and narrows in which to fish.  The main species are Large and Smallmouth Bass, Pickerel (Walleye) Pike & Panfish (Crappie).
  • George's Lake
George's Lake is accessible by ATV or a 45 minute hike. Due to the remoteness of this area there is little fishing pressure.  There are 2 sections to this lake, an area with a large weed bed in the middle and a mix of rocky underwater structures and a rocky shoreline with weed bed filled bays.  This habitat is perfect for Large & Smallmouth Bass, as well as Northern Pike.
  • Cooks Lake
Cooks Lake is a weedy shallow lake, we have the only boat here.  The main species caught are Largemouth Bass and Pike.
  • Twin Lakes
Twin Lakes is remote access only via a 20 minute hike.  We have the only boat on this lake.  This water body is made up of rocky shores & weed beds. The main species are Northern Pike & Pickerel (Walleye)

  • Mountain Lake
This remote lake is ATV accessible or via a 1hr hike.  We have the only boat on this lake.  The water body has a rocky shoreline, with weed beds at either end. The perfect habitat for Largemouth Bass & Pike.
  • Wolfe River
The Wolfe River is part of the iconic Wolfe-Pickerel Canoe Route and cherished by paddlers.  Canoe & portage from the dam at the end of Clear Lake Rd. down the Wolfe River to the Pickeral River System.
